WiPowerOne collaborated with Hyundai E&C to verify its newly launched hybrid EV charging system for passenger cars.

WiPowerOne's hybrid EV charging system is specifically designed for EV charging in apartment complexes, serving as a bridge until wireless EV charging becomes more widespread.The system offers ▲Hybrid charging (plug-in/wireless) ▲Power distribution ▲Charging management via mobile apps.

By sharing the power bank to support up to seven wireless charging pads, the overall cost of the system can be significantly reduced. The power-sharing technology also eases the load on the available electrical power in apartment buildings, making it easier to add more charging slots. 

In the future, apartment complexes are expected to offer valet services for autonomous vehicles to their residents. Wireless EV charging will be essential for the charging of these autonomous vehicles. Furthermore, WiPowerOne's inverter and feed-line sharing technology are expected to help solve the issue of double parking due to limited parking spaces in residential buildings across Korea.  

WiPowerOne installed wireless EV charging systems for KAIST official cars and demonstrated wireless charging in KAIST main campus. 

The wireless charging system supports two parking slots. 50kW inverter can charge two cars at the same time and each vehicle is wirelessly charged at 22kW while it is parked. 
 

WiPowerOne verified user convenience and safety of the system.

WiPowerOne installed wireless EV charging systems for electric trucks at three distribution centers (Guri, Namyangju, and Cheongju) of e-commerce company.

Each last mile delivery truck is wirelessly charged at 50kW during a worker is working on loading and uploading at the distribution center without needing to be charged separately.

It is safe because there are no cables and cords that interfere with the workflow and the transmitter pad is buried under the parking space. It also increases space efficiency.

WiPowerOne's wireless charging is a solution that helps eco-friendly delivery by solving the inconvenience of EV charging at logistics centers.

WiPowerOne was selected for the 'LG Electronics Biznoveter 2023' program. WiPowerOne and LG electronics verified the usability and performance of the recently developed 22kW wireless EV charging system for a passenger car.

WiPowerOne's wireless EV charging system ensures high efficiency and innovatively reduced the size and weight of the reciever pad attached to the vehicle.

A driver can easily charge and pay using a mobile phone app without having to plug in a cable.

WiPowerOne installed wireless charging infrastrcture to charge upto 4 electric buses in Daejeon city, Korea. 

3 city buses with WiPowerOne's wireless charging systems are wirelessly charged at 150kW level while a bus is parked in a depot.

One route for a bus is 23.5km and each bus is charged during 20 minutes break. 

WiPowerOne installed wireless charging infrastructure in n Dubai's Silicon Oasis area by invitation of Dubai RTA (The roads and transport authority).

On the 60m charging track, WiPowerOne successfully demonstrated the electric bus was wirelessly charged at 100kW and the electric taxi at 22kW.

In Dubai Silicon Oasis, we plan to install wireless charging infrastructure for 1km in total 10km long route.
